Meet the Author |
David
is an entrepreneur, transaction broker and educator working in the
high-tech sector for over 30 years. Through his incubation company
Cambridge Manhattan Group, LLC, David forms new startup ventures such
as Tynax Inc., a global online patent and technology trading exchange
featuring hundreds of thousands of patent assets and SVBS Co. Silicon
Valley Business School, offering self-paced and instructor-led courses
in conjunction with Santa Clara University. David acts as president of
Tynax Inc., president of SVBS Co., and managing member of Cambridge
Manhattan Group, LLC.
As Apple World Marketing Manager in the
early 1990’s, David was responsible for Apple’s marketing programs in
Europe, Africa and the Middle East. A pioneer of the early Internet
and worldwide web, David’s was founder and CEO of SurfMonkey, Inc.,
developing the leading web browser and safety service for kids. As CEO
of MediaLive Inc., David designed one of the first web browsers, email
and TV-set-top-box systems. David’s inventions have been awarded U.S.
patents and his software and multimedia products have won critical
acclaim.
David authored the book Zero-to-IPO, now published in
Japanese as well as English language. He has lectured in business
schools and universities in the U.S., Europe and Latin America,
addressed U.S. government congressional hearings and appeared on
several radio and TV shows.
He holds a BSc.(Hons.) Computer
Science & Economics from the University of Leeds (U.K.), a
Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Westminster
(U.K.) and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (U.S.).
